You can’t reach the heart of hearts with a spade, only the King. No diamonds, no queen, no joker will find the pearl and its heart outside the King.
Bringing religious and philosophical insight into the personal side of business leadership.

True courage is when you are no longer too frightened to be a coward.

I went to the movie Inception and was fascinated by how one of the movie’s themes would evolve through the use of a maze . This maze is so complex that it would confuse the brightest and the best from discovering an escape, even after theft of an idea that they thought would lead to success as freedom. This theme reminded me so much of reliance on man’s wisdom in this world. After meeting the young girl who would transform the main character through her developing wisdom by his ability to challenge and teach her, his inability to discover an escape from the 3rd maze she developed in real time ushered him into a level of freedom in thought that would transform his evil ways into a vision of and for him that would set him free not by his own hand but involving the use of it to the better good.
During my first viewing of the movie, I realized that word “maze” is a part of the verb “to amaze,” which can imply a context of mystery as well as freedom from prisons known or unknown in which we live out our dreams. The amazing thing about deliverance is that there is a maze in mystery that is freedom rather than a prison. In prison, no matter what maze you pass through to escape, you find an even bigger one that encircled the one from which you escaped.
Mystery is the opportunity to trust in being delivered versus planning the escape into just an even bigger maze of distrust and confusion. Freewill was given to us so that a choice can be made. This freedom of choice results in two things: deliverance or a deception. The result of deception comes from believing that there is light at the end of the tunnel of man’s wisdom when the tunnel was actually another funnel cloud of hopelessness.
The maze in amazing is truth that sets you free. When the Son sets you free, you will be free in deed and need. As the movie ends, the transformation of the use of skills, talents, and gifts in the right community reverses the process of theft of a seed-and- idea for corruption as a means to selfish yet noble ends. Instead, a seed is planted that grows more powerfully than a virus, a growth to man’s ultimate good in the world where each person lives affecting the greater good.
Celebrate!

Incentives by leaders who are false teachers-controllers- are given that deceive one into attempting to look good at the expense of being good.
Courage is required to push out and replace this deceit in order to act by faith where one knows what he is doing based on who he is, not due to some misleading incentive that stimulates one’s greed or selfishness.
To be able to blame, despise, fear, be suspicious of someone are examples of incentives to avoid one’s own responsability. There must be a victim seen and someone targeted. Avoid this victim mentality in order to be open to continuous real-time wisdom.
Be on alert when someone you trust micromanages everything you do.

We are to mentor, not intimidate. Lead rather than demand blind obedience from public and private shaming.
Death by lecture is a parent trap that mames the parent or authority. Authoritative tenderness is the answer. Inform to reform. Stand and be the argument rather than argue endlessly into infinity with duplicity of empty words.
Strong-arm tacticts by shaming show the lack of persuasive power. Persuasion leads a person to hear a voice other than the voice of the persuader. Spirit awakening by rediscovering the voice-spirit in another is what I call voice recognition that actives heart touch.
A heart touched rather than lectured is a treasure indeed.

Faith comes by hearing and then in a moment the whole scene changes. Depth perception.

Men and women of pain. They consider why pain is sent and the comfort for it. Whether something sent seems good or bad doesn’t distract from loving nor inspire it. Love just is. But love is moved by compassion.

Trying painstakingly to pick up the shattered and jagged-edged pieces while still falling from a broken heart. This unwarranted sacrifice can take one spiritually blind-folded to a dangerous place of self-destruction carried out by one’s own hand.
