I hear this phrase often when someone is giving advice. Interestingly that very person rarely stops and thinks about what choices he is making. 

We so often think we are thinking if the outcome is positive and thinking we weren't thinking if the outcome is negative. 

What we don't often do is stop. Then truly think. The outcome becomes a learning process because the thinking continues as I am able to stop.

It's a rush to not rush, I think.
