Over the last three decades I have spent thousands of hours learning from mentors. I learned the most from them while I was listening, not talking.
When I did talk, I learned more about what I thought I knew. Listening allows me to learn how to apply other's knowledge while self-correcting mine so that what was formed left me more articulate and confident in the way that I am.
Listen to learn in order to act. Without action, it's only an idea learned.
