Adventure and anxiety go hand in hand as we walk into our life purpose though when we hear "Don't be anxious", we are not to let anxiety get to the point it distracts us from our purpose or begins to defeat it.
I went to the movie Inception and was fascinated by how one of the movie's themes would evolve through the use of a maze . This maze is so complex that it would confuse the brightest and the best from discovering an escape, even after theft of an idea that they thought would lead to success as freedom. This theme reminded me so much of reliance on man's wisdom in this world. After meeting the young girl who would transform the main character through an escape from the 3rd maze she developed in real time, she ushered him into a deeper level of freedom in thought. His surprise by her ability to improvise transformed his evil ways into a vision for him that would set him free to the better good.
During my first viewing of the movie, I realized that word "maze" is a part of the verb "to amaze," which can imply a context of mystery as well as freedom from prisons known or unknown in which we live out our dreams. The amazing thing about deliverance is that there is a maze in mystery that is freedom rather than a prison. In prison, no matter what maze you pass through to escape, you find an even bigger one that encircled the one from which you escaped.
Mystery is the opportunity to trust in being delivered versus planning the escape into just an even bigger maze of distrust and confusion. Freewill was given to us so that a choice can be made. This freedom of choice results in two things: deliverance or a deception. The result of deception comes from believing that there is light at the end of the tunnel of man's wisdom when the tunnel was actually another funnel cloud of hopelessness.
The maze in amazing is truth that sets you free. When the Son sets you free, you will be free in deed and need. As the movie ends, the transformation of the use of skills, talents, and gifts in the right community reverses the process of theft of a seed-and- idea for corruption as a means to selfish yet noble ends. Instead, a seed is planted that grows more powerfully than a virus, a growth to man's ultimate good in the world where each person lives affecting the greater good.

Getting real is coining your own phrases to fluently- not honestly- reveal your heart. The use of counterfeit words of emotion often only reflect the expectations of others toward you. I find it difficult to get to the heart of the matter with many because they are not sure whose heart it is that really matters. This is reflected in an absence of meaning and a search for certainty that can destroy relationships.
It is important that we be a safe haven. Others can begin to know their own hearts while with us. No longer stammering in what is thought to be honesty. Honesty is not always as accurate a picture as one thinks.
Behavior can match up with one's belief because now the words reflect and carry the essence of who one really is. Either the heart of who we are matters or nothing does.
He lifts not only my spirits, but also me.
Waiting is a form of advancing in a silent retreat where timing trumps the appearance of indecisiveness. Waiting often has the appearance of doing nothing similar to silence having the appearance of agreement. Both are a risk requiring faith and an excercise of the will born out of freedom. Pain or no pain the clarity that comes is gain.
I call this carrying the message by applying a life principle rather than lecturing only about it. It cost more to deliver because it weighs on you heavier. We learn early in life not to trust mere words.
